Hélio Celso


Pianist, composer and arranger Hélio Celso Suarez has established a very successful career in Japan.  Today his discography includes 12 instrumental CDs and 4 CDs with Lisa Ono as a result of a partnership of nearly 15 years.  He has played with Vitor Assis Brasil, Paulo Moura, Nara Leão, Maysa, Leny Andrade and Maria Creuza.  Ivan Lins called Hélio "a super musician, our Bill Evans."  And Johnny Alf said: "Hélio is very talented, very creative; he adds quality to Brazilian music."
Pianista, compositor e arranjador, desenvolveu sua carreira no Japão com grande sucesso.  Hoje reúne em sua discografia 12 CDs instrumentais e 4 CDs com Lisa Ono, fruto de uma parceria de aproximadamente 15 anos. Tocou com Vitor Assis Brasil, Paulo Moura, Nara Leão, Maysa, Leny Andrade e Maria Creusa. Dele, Ivan Lins disse: "Hélio-um super músico, é o nosso Bill Evans".
